Genre: indie metal?
Phil Elvrum's self-proclaimed "black metal" debut. It seems that his new full length will be in this style, so I'm glad that it's kinda neat. It sounds exactly like you would expect a singer-songwriter's metal album to sound, whatever that mean. And it strikes me as more punk than metal. Standout tracks include "Appetite" and "Don't Smoke."
