Out on Warp on March 29th. Doesn't sound like a huge departure from 2009's "Ambivalence Avenue," but that album was awesome, so I'm pretty excited. Here's the video sampler:
We might make a list of some sort for the end of the year, but I can't really remember what all came out this year. I (Sam) listened to Best Coast the most for sure. Pretty sure the Kanye album wouldn't make either of our lists.
A nice twinkly pop album that LastFM says sounds like Light Skits. I don't know if I agree, but it's pretty enjoyable. Nothing new really, but they have a good sound.
Clever jazz hop beats from Chicago. The current soundtrack to my morning commute to Denver. Magnificent production with live instruments, subtle sample usage, and head nodding beats. My next post will be something other than instru-beats I PROMISE!
Haven't actually listened yet, but wanted to share because the first album was really, really good. Very unique with some really good arrangements and instruments.
