Genre: new wave folk, adult contemporary?
This album is really neat. It has the best parts of Bonnie Prince Billy with none of the over-the-top arrangements and strange, bassy talk-singing of some really wonderful lyrics. They are poignant and personal without being overbearing or weighty. Very nice.
